grooming
Bird Paradise offers expert grooming services by our Avian Consultants 5 days a week. No appointment is necessary. Hours of operation.
At Bird Paradise, NEVER is a bird toweled. This is the easiest way to spread disease from one bird to another. It also adds stress to an already stressful situation. All birds are professionally handled by our trained staff and promptly groomed, thereby minimizing the stress. All grooming instruments are sanitized before and after each grooming. Beaks are filed only when needed due to an overgrowth or scissor beak.
boarding
Bird Paradise offers a “Bed and Breakfast” for your feathered gems while you are away. The Bed and Breakfast is 2,500 square feet. Cages are cleaned daily and waters are changed 3 times a day. Food is constantly monitored and topped off throughout the day. Our staff visit the birds several times throughout the day so that they receive interaction and attention.
We require that all birds who stay with us be tested for PDD, Psittacosis, Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease and Polyomavirus.with us. We are sorry, but there are no exceptions.
